NORRIS, Dessie Crowder - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman Ind. Mrs. Dessie Norris, 85, of Kingman Route 2, died Friday morning Jan 28 1972 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. She had been ill for several years. Born in Indiana on Aug 1 1886, she was the daughter of James and Martha Allen Crowder. She married Charles P. Norris on Dec 31 1909. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Dorene Shull of Kingman Route 2, a foster daughter Vickie Walton at home; a foster granddaughter, Mrs. Victoria Uhey of Danville; and two foster great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Monday at the Woodrow funeral Home, with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Fraternal Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.   (thanks Betty D)
